With World Microbiome Day approaching, the Legume Hub community is pleased to share an upcoming webinar hosted by EUFIC: “Innovations from Soil to Shelf: Microbiomes Across Agriculture and Circular Food Design”
This free online event will explore how microbiome-based solutions can support more sustainable agriculture and food systems — from improving crop resilience and soil health to developing innovative fermented foods and valorising food waste through microbial activity.
We are pleased to welcome four speakers representing projects of the M4SF cluster, each covering a different aspect of microbiome-based solutions in agriculture and food sciences:
- Anastasija Jušković (Microbiomes4Soy) – The Role of Microbiomes in Sustainable Soybean Cultivation
- Maria Rosa Pérez-Gregorio (Wheatbiome) – Reconnecting Soil and Food: The Wheatbiome Vision for Sustainable Wheat Systems
- Christophe Courtin (HealthFerm) – From spontaneous to rationally designed plant-based food fermentations to boost product quality and health
- Abelardo Margolles Barros (DOMINO) – Valorization of food waste through microbial activity
Please feel free to register and share this invitation with your network. We look forward to seeing you online!
