Plant breeding, European research projects and innovation transfer- herein I am an expert reflecting on research, industry and politics. I have a passion for bridging research to application, seed sector topics, international cooperations and creating impact through research valorisation. I studied Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences and Molecular Ecology at the Technical University of Munich and at the University of Bayreuth. Following my studies I completed my PhD at the University of Bayreuth and at the University of Copenhagen shedding light on the mechanisms of micronutrient accumulation in barley seeds.
In November 2018, I joined Euroseeds as Manager Research Projects and Innovation Transfer. I am providing expertise and support on the valorisation of research results in several Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe research and innovation projects, including the HEU project Legume Generation.
