Gra\u0161ak je va\u017ean za odr\u017eivu i lokalnu ishranu stoke i idealan za proizvodnju bez GMO hrane. Tr\u017ei\u0161ne prilike za gra\u0161ak za ljudsku ishranu se ubrzano razvijaju u Evropi.<\/p>\n

Gra\u0161ak je jednogodi\u0161nja leguminoza koja se obi\u010dno seje u rano prole\u0107e, ali kako se klimatski uslovi menjaju, u poljoprivredne sisteme se \u010de\u0161\u0107e uvode vrste ozimog gra\u0161ka koje se seju u jesen.<\/p>\n

Prema obliku lista postoje dva tipa gra\u0161ka u Evropi. Jedan sa normalnim perastim listovima i zavr\u0161nim viticama, du\u017eine biljke od 90 do 180 cm i neodre\u0111enog rasta, i drugi tip, polu-bezlisni sa velikim lisnim zaliscima i liskama koje su preobra\u017eene u vitice, visine biljke od 60 do 120 cm i odre\u0111enog rasta. Gra\u0161ak obi\u010dno ima jednu stabljiku. Sna\u017eno grananje je odlika samo ozimog gra\u0161ka zbog njegovog rasta i navika prezimljavanja. Pojedine polu-bezlisne vrste manje su podlo\u017ene poleganju, a samim tim su bolje za berbu. Normalan tip lista po\u017eeljno je brati u me\u0161avini sa \u017eitaricama kako bi se izbeglo poleganje. Ve\u0107ina sorti ima bele cvetove sa bledo \u017eutim ili zelenim semenom, sa providnim omota\u010dem semena. Ljubi\u010dasti cvetni gra\u0161ak ima tamne omota\u010de semena i sadr\u017ei tanine.<\/p>\n

Gra\u0161ku odgovara lako do srednje-te\u0161ko zemlji\u0161te koje je lako zagrejati, rastresti i drenirati. Najve\u0107i prinosi se posti\u017eu na humusnom, dubokom glinovitom zemlji\u0161tu. PH vrednost zemlji\u0161ta treba da je neutralna do blago kisela. Neophodno je dobro snadbevanje vodom, posebno tokom klijanja i cvetanja. Me\u0111utim, treba izbegavati mesta koja su sklona plavljenju i zbijanju zemlji\u0161ta.<\/p>\n

Gra\u0161ku odgovara umereno vla\u017ena, ne previ\u0161e topla klima. Toplotni i vodeni stres smanjuju prinose gra\u0161ka. Otpornost na mraz zavisi od sorte: dok letnji gra\u0161ak mo\u017ee podneti kasne mrazeve do\u00a0 – 4 \u00b0 C, bele cvetne zimske sorte mogu da izdr\u017ee mrazeve i do\u00a0 – 15 \u00b0 C, a ljubi\u010dasti cvetaju\u0107i gra\u0161ak i do – 20 \u00b0 C.<\/p>\n

Sadr\u017eaj sirovog proteina kod gra\u0161ka je izme\u0111u 18 i 29 % u suvoj materiji. Prinos gra\u0161ka se kre\u0107e od 20 do 55 dt\/ha, ali mo\u017ee dosti\u0107i i maksimalni prinos od 70 dt\/ha. U organskoj proizvodnji, prinosi su ni\u017ei nego u konvencionalnim sistemima gajenja. Jedan od razloga za promenljive prinose je samonetolerancija. Zbog toga se preporu\u010duje pauza u proizvodnji od pet do deset godina. Me\u0111utim, mogu\u0107e su rotacije sa drugim leguminozama u kra\u0107im ciklusima.<\/p>\n

The pea is also known as \u201cdry pea\u201d. Peas are important for sustainable and local livestock feeding and an ideal opportunity to produce GMO-free feed rations. The marketing opportunities for peas for human consumption are developing rapidly in Europe.<\/p>

Peas are annual legumes and are usually sown in early spring, but as climatic conditions change, winter pea species sown in autumn are more commonly introduced into agricultural systems.<\/p>

There are two leaf types in the peas in Europe. One with normal pinnate leaves and terminal tendrils, with a plant length of 90 to 180 cm and indeterminate growth, and the second type, the semi-leafless type, with large stipules and leaflets that are reduced to tendrils, a plant height of 60 to 120 cm and determinate growth. Peas usually have a single stem. A strong branching is only a phenomenon of the winter pea due to its growth and overwintering habits. Certain semi-leafless types show less lodging and thus better harvestability. The normal leaf type is preferably cropped in a mixture with cereals to avoid lodging. Most varieties have white flowers with pale yellow or green seeds, with transparent seed coats. Purple flowering pea have dark seed coats and contain tannins.<\/p>

Peas prefers light to medium-heavy soils that are easy to warm up, loose and well-drained. The highest yields are achieved on humus-rich, deep clay soils. The pH of the soil should be neutral to slightly acidic. A good water supply, especially for germination and during flowering, is required. However, locations that are prone to waterlogging or compaction should be avoided.<\/p>

Peas prefer a moderately humid, not too warm climate. Heat and water stress reduce the pea yield. Their frost resistance depends on the variety: While summer pea can withstand late frosts down to -4 \u00b0 C, white flowering winter varieties can withstand frosts down to -15 \u00b0 C and purple flowering pea down to approx. -20 \u00b0 C.<\/p>

The raw protein content of pea is between 18 and 29 % in dry matter. The yield of pea range from 20 to 55 dt \/ ha, but can also reach maximum yield of 70 dt \/ ha. In organic farming, the yields are lower than in conventional cultivation systems. One reason for volatile yields is self-intolerance. Therefore, a five to ten years cultivation break is recommended. However, rotations with other legumes species in shorter cycles are possible.<\/p>
