Das Ziel des Legume Hub ist es, all jene zu erm\u00e4chtigen, die an der Entwicklung des Anbaus und der Nutzung von Leguminosen interessiert sind, indem validiertes Wissen zug\u00e4nglich gemacht wird. Der Hub ist eine Plattform, die sich dem Austausch von Wissen und erfolgreichen Praktiken \u00fcber die gesamte Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette hinweg widmet, von der Pflanzenz\u00fcchtung \u00fcber Aktivit\u00e4ten auf dem Bauernhof bis hin zu Verarbeitung und Konsum.<\/p>\n

Der Hub ist eine mehrsprachige Publikationsplattform mit schriftlichen, gesprochenen und visuellen Medien. Selbstver\u00f6ffentlichte Artikel bilden den Kern. Jeder Artikel ist den AutorInnen und deren Organisationen zugeordnet. Alle Artikel, die \u00fcber den Hub ver\u00f6ffentlicht werden, unterliegen einem unabh\u00e4ngigen Peer-Review und sind jeweils als wissenschaftliche oder technische Publikation zitierf\u00e4hig. Die Editoren am Hub sind bestrebt, sicherzustellen, dass die Beitragenden stolz auf ihre am Hub ver\u00f6ffentlichten Arbeiten sein k\u00f6nnen. Der Legume Hub wird von den Mitgliedern der European Legume Hub Community verwaltet. Alle an der Entwicklung der Produktion und Nutzung von Leguminosen beteiligten sind dazu eingeladen, der Legume Hub Community beizutreten, indem sie sich als Mitglied registrieren. Mitglieder haben erweiterten Zugang zu den Ressourcen des Hubs und k\u00f6nnen mit anderen Mitgliedern in Kontakt treten. Mitglieder sind eingeladen, zum Hub beizutragen, indem sie ein pers\u00f6nliches Profil mit Bezug auf ihre Arbeiten mit Leguminosen erstellen, Artikel ver\u00f6ffentlichen und Informationen \u00fcber ihre Projekte bereitstellen.<\/p>\n

Scientia est potentia:<\/em> knowledge is power. The primary purpose of The Hub is to empower all interested in the development of legume cropping and use with access to knowledge. In addition to full public access to The Hub public website-based services, all expert users are invited to join the Legume Hub Community<\/a> by registering as a user. This gives users greater access to The Hub\u2019s resources, the opportunity to publish articles, comment on other articles and direct access to other experts.<\/p>\n

The Hub itself is a multi-lingual publishing platform, featuring written, spoken and visual media. Written articles form its core. Each article is attributed to its author(s) and their organisations. Each is citable as a scientific or technical publication. All articles are subject to independent peer-review. The Hub editors strive to ensure that authors can be proud of their contribution to the Hub and that the author community as a whole is respected. Authors can extend their involvement by joining the editorial board and by contributing to the review of the Hub\u2019s content and its direction. This editorial work is also acknowledged on the Legume Hub in each author\u2019s personal profile. All authors may refer professionally to their role as an author and\/or editor in reporting their work and the impact of their work to practice.<\/p>\n

Research consortia are welcome to use the Hub as part of their communication activities to enhance the impact of their research. Project consortia that use the Hub as a publishing platform benefit from The Hub Community\u2019s work within the European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability (EIP-AGRI) to ensure that the Legume Hub is well-known as a route to impact for European Union-funded research and innovation consortia.<\/p>\n
