OK-Net EcoFeed is a multi-actor project to help farmers, breeders and the organic feed processing industry in achieving the goal of 100% use of organic and regional feed for monogastrics (pigs, broilers, laying hens and parents of broilers and laying hens). Achieving 100% organic diets for monogastrics is challenging. Furthermore, importing animal feed has economical disadvantages for farmers and can compromise the sustainability and decrease consumers\u2019 confidence. All the project\u2019s work aimed at tackling the organic feed objectives for the coming years, including reducing the cost of feed production, improving sustainability and animal welfare, and satisfying consumer expectation for traceability of production.<\/p>\n

OK-Net EcoFeed ist ein Multi-Akteurs-Projekt, das LandwirtInnen, Z\u00fcchterInnen und der \u00f6kologischen Futtermittelindustrie helfen soll, das Ziel einer 100%igen Verwendung von \u00f6kologischem und regionalem Futter f\u00fcr monogastrische Tiere (Schweine, Masth\u00fchner, Legehennen und deren Elterntiere) zu erreichen. Die 100%ige \u00f6kologische F\u00fctterung von Monogastriern stellt eine Herausforderung. Dar\u00fcber hinaus hat der Import von Futtermitteln wirtschaftliche Nachteile f\u00fcr die Landwirte und kann die Nachhaltigkeit gef\u00e4hrden und das Vertrauen der Verbraucher schw\u00e4chen. Die gesamte Projektarbeit zielte darauf ab, hinsichtlich \u00f6kologischer Futtermittel die Herausforderungen f\u00fcr die kommenden Jahre anzugehen, einschlie\u00dflich der Senkung der Kosten f\u00fcr die Futtermittelproduktion, der Verbesserung der Nachhaltigkeit und des Tierschutzes sowie der Erf\u00fcllung der Erwartungen der VerbraucherInnen bez\u00fcglich der R\u00fcckverfolgbarkeit der Produktion.<\/div>\n
